FESTIVAL BUSES
Round-trip tickets for the official festival buses are now sold from our web shop. Using the festival bus as a method of transportation is the easiest, fastest and most likely the cheapest way to get to the festival and back. We highly recommend using the official festival bus rides!
Festival bus tickets are available from:
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
You can check out other available public transportation from
http://www.matka.fi/en/. However the official festival bus is in most cases less expensive and faster (see above). We highly recommend using either the festival buses or other public transportation and carpooling when coming, due to the limitations of the parking area.
COMING BY CAR
The main connection to the festival area is the
number 5 highway (Viitostie/Lahdentie).
Driving distances between Mäntyharju and other Finnish cities: Helsinki 198 km, Mikkeli 42 km, Kouvola 77 km, Lahti 98 km, Lappeenranta 97 km, Tampere 220 km, Turku 350 km, Oulu 460 km. If you're using a GPS navigator, enter Tiilikkalantie 864, 52700 Mäntyharju, Finland as the destination address (or use
Google Maps to get exact driving directions).
PLEASE NOTE: If you're coming by your own car, a parking fee of 20 EUR per vehicle will be charged for parking at the festival. There is a limited amount of parking space, so we highly recommend using either the festival buses or public transportation.
There's also a reserved space for mobile homes and caravans. Mobile home and caravan parking spots include the possibility to use AC electricity. Parking fee per mobile home/caravan is 30 EUR (electricity included). Parking vehicles in non-designated places (such as next to the roads) is strictly prohibited and unauthorized parking will be dealt with!
